Held in conjunction with Colours of Malaysia 2008, Citrarasa, or also known as Flavours of Malaysia, is Malaysia's own food and fruits festival. It's opening event goes on for three days from 6 June 2008 at the Titiwangsa Lake Garden, Kuala Lumpur, while the closing event will be from 20 June 2008 in Miri, Sarawak.
Citrarasa helps to promote the country which is not only famous for its tropical beauty and the warm hospitality of its people, but also for its rich cultural diversity and delectable food and fruits. Citrarasa is virtually a one-stop bazaar for a wide range of delicious authentic local cuisine and a wide selection of exotic fruits and assorted fare from the different states of Malaysia..
There will be various food promotions and demonstrations at hotels, shopping malls and tourists’ destinations nationwide. Various activities like cooking competitions and demonstrations as well as live performances have been lined up to add spice to the festivities.
